‘Sita’ poignantly portrays the hardships and emotional struggles of farmers

 

Bhubaneswar:Director Aswin Tripathy’s new movie Sita starring Debjani Deghuria in titular role of Sita is all set to hit screens on July 5

Several stars form Ollywood and other industry showing their support to the movie which tells the story of farmers suicide.

Actress Anu Choudhury shared a video telling the audience to watch the movie at the cinema halls on July 5.

This apart Bengali actor Joy Sen Gupta also showed support to the movie and asked people to watch the movie.

The trailer of the movie was released earlier at Amara Muzic YouTube channel.

The movie will release on July 5 in cinema halls across the state.

The movie stars Debjani Deghuria in lead role while Samaresh Routray and others playing supporting roles.

Sources said that the movie which was earlier named Udandi Sita face struggle to release earlier because of previous government disapproval.

After the new government entryway in the state the film finally getting chance to release the movie.

The movie which previously titled Udandi Sita starring Debjani Deghuria in titular role will be released in the cinema halls on July 5.

Aswin Tripathy Films in association with Idol Odisha are presenting the Odia flick. The movie is starring Debjani Deghuria in a lead role. The movie narrates a story of a daughter of an agricultural family who is completely reliant on her father, the family’s lone breadwinner.

The movie tells the story of a farmer life and struggle. In the movie father experiences a loss as a result of climate change, leading to a mental breakdown. The daughter, who is pursuing a career in agriculture, protests for farmer’s rights, prompting the Chief Minister to make an audacious offer to act as CM for three days.

The movie is directed by Aswin Tripathy who also wrote the screenplay and also the producer. The dialogues of the film were written by Rajani Ranjan while the music direction is given by Japani Bhai.

Apart from the lead role by Debjani, the other important roles in the movie played by Samaresh Routray, Late Pintu Nanda, Sushant Das Mohapatra and Shakti Baral.
