Rashmika Mandanna’s female-centric film titled Rainbow

Rashmika Mandanna has signed another exciting Telugu project titled Rainbow, which is said to be a “breezy romantic fantasy” as per the makers.

The film, to be directed by debutant Shantharuban, will also see Shaakunthalam fame Dev Mohan in a key role.

“Rainbow will be one of a kind romantic fantasy in Telugu cinema. You will see Rashmika’s most matured performance yet. The film will tug at your heartstrings,” said director Shantharuban in a press note.

Rashmika said, “This is the first time I star in a film where the story is shot from a girl’s perspective. I am excited to bring this character to life. The film is entertaining and exciting. The film will be a crazy ride, so buckle up.” The film was launched on Monday with a pooja in Hyderabad, in the presence of the film’s cast and crew.

Shooting for the film will commence from April 7. KM Bhaskaran has been roped in as cinematographer while Justin Prabhakaran has scored the music.
