‘Raavan’ Makers to Unveil Exciting Surprise on June 6

Bhubaneswar: Director Anupam Patnaik and superstar Anubhav Mohanty are reuniting for their next cinematic venture, Raavan, following the success of their previous collaboration Karma.

The upcoming film promises a gripping narrative centered on themes of power, vengeance, and destiny.

On Sunday, Patnaik teased an upcoming reveal about Raavan, slated for June 6, sparking excitement among fans.

Earlier, as part of pre-production, the film’s team recently conducted a location recce in Goa, hinting at visually rich settings for several key scenes. “Location Recce Begins, Raavan… Mass Madness on its way,” Patnaik shared on social media, offering glimpses from the coastal state.

Backed by producers Barsha Patnaik, Arpit Golecha, and Jagrati Shukla—who also crafted the story—the film boasts a strong writing team, including Manas Padhiary, Nishant Majithia, Jagrati Shukla, and Anupam Patnaik.

Production is set to begin in May, with a theatrical release planned for September 26, 2025. While the lead female role has been finalized, the identity of the actress remains under wraps and is expected to be unveiled shortly.
