Prithvi Raj Pattnaik’s Next Mystery Film Set for Title Reveal on July 7

Bhubaneswar: After making his mark with films such as Gupchup (2022), Malyagiri (2023), and BHAI: The Opening Part (2025), young and experimental Odia filmmaker Prithvi Raj Pattnaik is gearing up for his next directorial venture.

The upcoming film, produced by the newly launched DB Pictures, has recently wrapped up shooting. While the makers are keeping the project under wraps, they have announced that the film’s title will be officially unveiled on July 7 at 7 PM.

Ahead of the announcement, the makers have been teasing fans by revealing only the initials of the film’s title, fuelling speculation across social media. Adding to the intrigue, they shared a cryptic message: “Some mysteries are meant to be solved. Others are meant to haunt you. The name behind the mystery unfolds on 7.7.26 at 7 PM.”

The post has sparked curiosity among Odia cinema lovers, hinting at an intriguing mystery thriller.

The film stars Suryamayee Mohapatra, Supriya Nayak, Ankita Mohanty, Chaudhary Jayaprakash Dash, and several other actors in key roles.

The project also marks the debut venture of DB Pictures, an Odisha-based production house founded in 2026 by Deepak K. Mohapatra and Bhabani Subudhi. The film is the banner’s maiden production, marking its entry into the Odia film industry with an ambitious new project.
