People grew up seeing me on screen, now their children are too: Swetha

Swetha Changappa has completed over 2o years in television. She has been part of comedy shows, daily soaps, along with few reality shows as well.

Her career is a testimony to staying relevant in changing times. Apart from her presence on the small screen, she has recently been part of the design team of the multi-starrer film 45, featuring Shivarajkumar, Raj B Shetty, Upendra, and Kaustubha Mani. “We have been working on costumes for a year now. I am sure I will be able to impress with my new endeavour,” she says.

However, TV continues to be a focus, says Swetha. “When I started, I never thought I would make a career out of it. My journey began with the TV show Sumathi. People tell me they grew up watching me on screen, and now their children are watching me,” she chirps. Soon, Swetha will host kids show Chota Champion again.
