Odia movie T starts streaming on Kanccha Lannka
Odia movie T which depicts the life and travails of the transgender community in Odisha and had bagged laurels for itself at the Cannes as well as at India International Film Festival of Boston (IIFFB), USA starts streaming at Kanccha Lannka OTT platform Friday.
After getting huge response from theatre where it was released in May, the film is now set for digital audience.
Jitesh Parida’s directorial debut is loosely based on the life of Meghna Sahoo, India’s first transgender cab driver, and showcases her life journey, struggles and triumphs. “It is the story of a community that has long been pushed to the sidelines. The movie celebrates their journey while providing them a space to be themselves.

People who watch the movie can understand the agonising ordeals faced by them, feel the pain and become more sensitive towards them,” he said
In the movie Debasish Sahu, Ranbeeir Kalsi, Usasi Mishra, Prasanjit Mahapatra,Hara Rath,Tejas Rathi,Lalit Razdan,Nishant Tyagi played important roles.
Another odia movie Delivery Boy will also be available soon at the platform said Kanccha Lannka officials.
