Odia movie Pratikshya to be screened in New Delhi Tomorrow
There are 30 Feature Films and 27 Non-Feature Films from 18 Languages which will be screened during the 12-day screening at Siri Fort Auditorium II.
Bhubaneswar: The much-anticipated Public Screening of the 69th National Film Award winning films of 2021 including Odia movie Pratikshya, is set to captivate audiences in Delhi from 14th – 25th November, 2023.
There are 30 Feature Films and 27 Non-Feature Films from 18 Languages which will be screened during the 12-day screening at Siri Fort Auditorium II.
The public screening of the films will showcase the selection of the most compelling and noteworthy films honored at the 69th National Film Awards.
The public screenings will offer an unparalleled chance for audiences to immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of Indian storytelling and cinematic excellence.
All the films carry English subtitles. Entry will be from Gate No. 5 and will be free on first-come-first-served basis with a valid photo identity.
Director Anupam Patnaik said ” Pratikshya will be screened tomorrow at 6pm at Siri Fort Auditorium. I am very proud of this fact that Pratikshya is my first movie as director. It’s just the beginning. I am hopeful to keep this pride as long as I keep making films. I am thankful to the critics and the jury. I am equally thankful to the audience who gave immense love to this film.”
President Droupadi Murmu awarded “Pratikshya” as the best Odia film the the 69th National Film Awards ceremony in New Delhi on October 17.
The award was received by Anupam Patnaik, the director of the movie, from the President. He received the award in the form of a Rajat Kamal and cash prize of Rs 1,00,000.
Pratikshya, was directed by Anupam Patnaik and produced by Amiya Patnaik Productions. The movie is based on a short story written by Gourahari Das.
