Odia Movie ‘Lahari’ to be screened at KIFF on December 8

Bhubaneswar: Actress and producer Jhilik Bhattacharjee’s new produced Odia movie Lahari will be screened at the 30th Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF) three times starting on December 8. The festival grand opening held on Wednesday.

The films will be screened on December 8 at Rabindra Sadan. After that on December 9 at Radha Studio and on December 10 at Star Theatre.

Sharing the news Jhilik said ” We’re beyond thrilled to announce that our new feature film LAHARI will have its World Premiere at the prestigious 30th Kolkata International Film Festival!

This is our very first collaboration with the amazing Amartya bhattacharyya and his talented team. “Lahari” tells a beautiful story of friendship, fatherhood, and coming-of-age – all set against the stunning backdrop of Odisha’s eco-tourism.

Shot in some of Odisha’s most breathtaking locations, this film takes you on a visual journey showcasing the rich culture and entrepreneurial spirit of the region. Get ready for a truly unforgettable ride!
The movie is produced by Jhilik’s production house Jhilik motion pictures and directed by Amartya bhattacharya.

Jhilik bhattacharya was last seen in Dear purusha which was produced by Jhilik motion pictures.
