Bhubaneswar: The audio of the upcoming Odia feature film Pari was officially released ahead of its theatrical premiere scheduled for January 30. Marking the occasion, the film’s team held a press conference at the Press Club of Odisha in Bhubaneswar on Monday.
The event was attended by producer Sanjay Mohanty, director Tripati Kumar Sahu, dialogue writer Dr. Rajani Ranjan, music director Japani Bhai, along with several members of the cast and crew, including actors Jyoti Ranjan Nayak and Anuradha Panigrahi, singers Antara Chakraborty and Ruku Suna, choreographer Amit Nayak, and other prominent contributors associated with the film.

“Pari” presents a deeply sensitive and socially relevant story against the backdrop of the alarming rise in sexual violence against children. The film portrays Pari as an innocent, tender child—beloved by her parents and full of dreams—whose life is tragically shattered by heinous abuse. As the narrative unfolds, it exposes how money, power, social status, and politics often overpower the voices of grieving parents. The central question that drives the film is whether justice ultimately prevails for Pari.
The story has been penned by Sanjay Mohanty, who also serves as the producer, with Chandan Swain and Anil Baliarsingh as co-producers.
Dialogues are written by Dr. Rajani Ranjan, while music is composed by Japani Bhai. Lyrics by Pramod Parida have been rendered by singers Tariq Aziz, Antara Chakraborty, Jyotirmayee Nayak, Ruku Suna, and Dr. Rohan Biswal.
Cinematography is handled by Dhrubananda Panda (Litu), editing by Chandrasekhar Mishra, and choreography by S. K. Muralidharan and Amit Nayak. The film is written and directed by Tripati Kumar Sahu. Publicity and promotion are overseen by creative head Pranaya Jethi.
The film features an ensemble cast including Jyoti, Anuradha Panigrahi, Sritam Das, Nilamani Sahu, Pradyumna Lenka, Soumya Adhikari, Guddu, Jagannath Sahu, Naresh Rautray, Niranjan Acharya, Bishal, Papi Santuka, along with child artistes Dibyanshi and Sneha.
With all preparations complete, “Pari” is set for a statewide release on January 30, and the producers have expressed confidence that audiences across Odisha will be able to watch the film in packed theatres.
