Odia Crime Thriller Atithi to Stream on AAO NXT from June 27

Bhubaneswar: After a successful theatrical release, the much-anticipated Odia film Atithi is set to make its digital debut. The multi-starrer crime thriller will premiere on the streaming platform AAO NXT on June 27.

Announcing the digital release, AAO NXT teased, “Not all guests are welcome. The wait is over!” The platform added, “The #WorldDigitalPremiere of the gripping Odia crime thriller ‘#ATITHI’ is streaming from June 27, only on #AAONXT. Get ready for a suspense-filled ride where intellect meets crime and truth battles to prevail.”

Released in September last year, Atithi marked the directorial debut of Ajay Padhi, who has since gone on to direct several acclaimed films such as Bigul and Kuhudi.

The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Manoj Mishra, Anu Choudhury, Sukant Rath, Chinmay Mishra, Dibya Mohanty, Abhishek Giri, Dipanwit Das Mohapatra, Prasanjeet Mohapatra, Shruti Subashree, Jeeban Panda, Bighnesh Pradhan, and Baby Prasidhi.

Produced under the Reels and Reels banner by Sthita Patnaik and Pratima Patnaik, the film delves into a suspenseful family drama centered around a mysterious guest who drastically alters the life of a family. The screenplay is penned by Manas Padhiary.

The music is composed by Soumesh Satpathy, with vocals by Humane Sagar, Kuldip Patnaik, Arpita Choudhury, and Sanchita Subhadarsini.

The makers recently unveiled a new poster for the movie, building anticipation for its digital release. “The content of the movie is very strong, and we believe the youth will especially connect with it,” they said.
