Sivani Sangita Unveiled as Kusum in Chhi Re Nani
Emotional Drama Set for Rath Yatra 2025 Release
Bhubaneswar – Following the reveal of Sailendra Samantaray’s first look in the upcoming Odia film Chhi Re Nani, the makers have now introduced Sivani Sangita as Kusum, a character described as “the soul of Chhi Re Nani.”
The filmmakers shared her look on social media with the caption:
“Eyes that hold fear, a heart that holds love, and a fate that will test it all. Presenting Kusum – the soul of Chhi Re Nani.”
Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Susant Mani, the film marks his much-awaited reunion with veteran producer Sitaram Agrawal after an eight-year hiatus. Co-produced by Namita Agrawal, the film is also a landmark for the Sidharth Music banner, being its 45th production.
The recently released teaser offers a glimpse into an emotionally rich storyline, billed as “a love story that broke all rules.” Alongside Sangita and Samantaray, the film stars Dipanwit Das Mohapatra, promising a layered narrative exploring themes of love, loss, and legacy.
With a grand release slated for Rath Yatra 2025, Chhi Re Nani is already generating strong anticipation. The film’s soundtrack—featuring viral hits like “Pani Marigala Jhain,” “Jete Bele Dekhli Tatale,” and “E Nani Bihari Pani”—has only amplified excitement among fans.
