The web series, set in rural Odisha where tradition and simplicity have long defined everyday life, a quiet revolution is unfolding.
The arrival of smart phones and widespread access to social media has brought changes into the fabric of village life, both visible and subtle. The story follows the lives of several villagers as they navigate the intersection of their day to day life in this digital age.
The web series stars Abhisek Giri, Anubha Sourya Gargi Mohanty, Somesh Mohanty, Himanshu, Shruti Subhashree, Dharitri Khandual, Prasanna Manjari Das, Pranab Prasanna Rath and others in key roles.
Das said that the core of the story is set in rural area, where life goes for a toss when changes start to occur and how it affects the environment of the village.
Das, whose work often focuses on important social and environmental issues, said that he wanted to make something similar to Malgudi days and decided to make a web series.
