The Odia industry will see multiple movies releasing in January 2024
The year 2024 will be exciting for the Odia industry as multiple nig budgeted movies will clash at boxoffice. In Januray alone multiple movies such as Dasama, Operation 12/17, Trikanmya and Dear Purusha will be releasing.
Dasama
Dasama, a youth centric movie directed by Raja D. The movie features Sailendra Samantara=y in lead role along with other newcomers, The The D film Cine Production and Shardhanjali productions. movie will release on January 4, 2024. The movie is produced by Deepak Jena.
Dear Purusha
Produced under Jhillik Motion Pictures, Dear Purusha boasts a star-studded cast, the protagonist, Chitrangada, played by the talented producer Jhilik Bhattacharjee, emerges as a valiant warrior challenging societal norms in the pursuit of justice. The ensemble also includes Choudhury Jayprakash Das, Mahashweta Ray, Sidhant Mohapatra, G Nitu Singh, Samresh Routray, Pinky Pradhan, Bobby Mishra, BM Baisali, Pr Devasis Patra, Anuradha Panigrahi, Dipanwit Dashmohapatra, Divya Mohanty, Parthasarathi Ray, Himagni Dutta, and Ananya Mishra.
Operation 12/17
Odia movie Operation 12/17 starring Shreyan and Bhoomika Dash and directed by Sudhanshu Mohan Sahoo will also be releasing in January 2024. The movie is presented by Sai Lumbini Productions. It has been directed by Sudhanshu Mohan Sahoo of Priye Tu Mo Sie fame. The movie stars Shreyan and Bhoomika Dash in lead roles. The story is based on the life of an army officer and his family. The movie is produced by Subhra Pattanaik. The story is written by Dwipayan Pattanaik. The Director of Photography is done by Kerala Story fame Prashtunu Mahapatra. The Dialogues are written by Dilip Choudhary. The Music Director is Baidyanath Das. Pranay Jethi is the media planner.
Trikanya
Renowned national award-winning director, Anupam Patnaik, had announced his next feature film titled “Tri-Kanya,” slated for release on January 2024.
