Multi-starrer Odia movie “Dear Purusha” released across the state
The star cast of the movie visited Puri Jagannath Temple to take Lord Jagannath blessing
Bhubaneswar: The much awaited Odia movie, “Dear Purusha,” release in cinema halls across the state on Thursday (January 11). The movie is directed by Jiit Chakraborty and produced by Jhilik Bhattacharjee.
A special premiere organized at Swati Cinema hall Bhubaneswar on Thursday where the stars of the movie will be present The film released at more than 30 cinema halls across the state.
Team Dear Purusha also visited Shree Jagannath Temple on January 11, 2024 at 10am in the morning to take the blessing of the Lord Jagannath.

The fifth venture of Jhilik Motion Pictures, Dear Purusha boasts of an ensemble cast featuring renowned actors including Choudhury Jayprakash Das, Maheswata Ray, Siddhant Mohapatra, Jhilik Bhattacharjee, , Samresh Routray, Pinky Pradhan, Bobby Mishra, B.M. Baisali, Devasis Patra, Anuradha Panigrahi, Dipanwit Dashmohapatra, Divya Mohanty, Partha Sarathi Ray, Ananya Mishra, Kuna Tripathy, Sukanth Rath, Rabi Mishra, Ipshita, Rakhee and others.
The movie “Dear Purusha” intricately delves into the intricacies of the lives of six couples, offering a compelling portrayal of men as they navigate the intricate web of societal expectations and familial challenges. At the narrative’s core is Chitrangada, a valiant warrior advocating for men’s perspectives, leaving audiences in suspense about the unfolding quest for justice.
Renowned cinematographer Iswar Barik has been the man behind the lens for Dear Purusha. The film’s music is composed by Gaurav Anand.
The film was scheduled to release in Dusshera last year but was postponed
