‘Mantra Muugdha’ Set for Big Release in 50+ Theatres Across Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Upcoming Odia horror-comedy Mantra Muugdha is all set for a wide theatrical release on May 1, with the film scheduled to screen in more than 50 cinema halls across Odisha. In a significant move, the makers have also planned releases in key cities outside the state, including Bengaluru and Hyderabad, aiming to reach a broader audience.

Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Anupam Pattnaik and produced under Amiya Pattnaik Productions, the film has been generating strong buzz ahead of its release.

The movie has already received a U/A certificate from the censor board, making it suitable for family viewing. Its trailer crossed one million views on YouTube shortly after release, reflecting growing excitement among audiences.

Adding to the hype, the makers recently released the energetic promotional track Daba Bhitare Pas, featuring vocals by Papu Pom Pom, which has struck a chord with fans for its unique horror-comedy vibe.

Mantra Muugdha follows the story of a group of friends who visit a mysterious palace and encounter eerie and unexplained events. Blending horror, suspense, comedy and music, the film is being promoted as a complete family entertainer.

The film stars Sanoj, Manmay, Suryamayee, Bhoomika, Dipanwit and others.

With an extensive release plan and rising anticipation, Mantra Muugdha is poised to make a strong impact at the box office when it hits screens on May 1.
