‘Kemiti E Samparka’ producer attacked distributor Prakash Films for not giving space to the movie in cinema halls
Bhubaneswar: Film Producer Rupesh Kumar and makers of Odia movie Kemiti E Samparka Sunday brought allegation against distributor company Prakash Films for not giving their film enough screens in the cinema halls which affected the movie.
A press conference was organized ct city hotel here where they discuss the challenges faced during the release of the movie “Kemiti E Samparka,” starring Akash Das Nayak, Elina Samantaray, Lipsa Mishra, and informed about suffering the significant financial loss.
In the press meet Rupesh was accompanied by Prany Jethi Media Planner and Creative head.
Rupesh who came from USA to produce an Odia movie said that we put faith on distributors for releasing the movie in as many cinema halls but unfortunately the distribution company Prakash Films didn’t give our movie enough importance and give hindi movies more importance which hampers the movie chance to reach larger audience.
We had complained about this to the producers association but no action taken so far, Rupesh said.
Rupesh alerted other makers and producers who are planning to make the movie, of such situation
