Katrina Kaif on Tiger 3’s action scenes

Mumbai: Actress Katrina Kaif, whose towel fight sequence at a hammam from Tiger 3 has caught the eye of many, spoke about how the action sequence with two women has not been shown before on screen in India.

The Welcome actress said: “Tiger franchise consistently offers me the opportunity to elevate the standard of female action heroism. I’ve experienced the life of a super spy vicariously through Zoya, and I appreciate her fierce combat skills. Like Tiger, she can outlast any opponent, which brings a fresh and captivating dynamic for both me and the audience.”

She added, “Shooting a challenging sequence within a steamy Hammam room, featuring intense hand-to-hand combat, presented formidable difficulties. Credit goes to Adi for conceiving this remarkable scene, as it’s a rarity in Indian cinema to showcase such an intense fight between two women. The execution by Maneesh and the action team was impeccable, and Zoya’s showdown with the formidable fighter portrayed by Michelle Lee promises to deliver astonishing intensity, aggression, and brutality, leaving audiences in awe.”

She added: “This is one of the best action sequences I have ever seen women do on screen.”
Tiger 3 is set to release November 12 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
