‘Kantara’: What you have seen is Part 2, Rishabh Shetty Announces Prequel

There is good news for all the audiences who were left spellbound by Rishabh Shetty’s Kannada blockbuster ‘Kantara’. As the film completed 100 days in cinemas, Lead star & director Rishabh Shetty announced the film’s prequel in a celebration with the film’s team.

“We are very pleased and thankful to the audience who has shown loads of love and support to Kantara and taking the journey ahead, with the blessing of almighty Daiva the film has successfully completed 100 days. I would like to take this opportunity to announce the prequel of ‘Kantara’.”

Written and directed by Rishab Shetty, who also plays the lead, ‘Kantara’ revolves around a Kambala champion who is at loggerheads with an upright forest officer. ‘Kantara’ was hailed for its visual excellence that captured the folklore from coastal Karnataka.
