Kuala Lumpur: The prestigious Kannada Kahale program, along with the World Best Kannadiga Award 2025, was successfully organized at the Royal Chulan Hotel, Malaysia. The event was hosted by Sudha Ventures in association with the Department of Kannada and Culture, Government of Karnataka, aiming to promote Kannada heritage on a global platform.

The event was graced by Hon’ble Shri Shivaraj Tangadgi, Minister of Kannada and Culture, Government of Karnataka, Dr. B. N. Reddy, High Commissioner of India to Malaysia, industrialist Shri Surendra Kumar Hegde, VRL Director Shri Anand Sankeshwar, and Smt. Sudha, renowned for her global beauty recognition and leadership in cultural initiatives.
Cultural Highlights
After the inauguration with the national anthems of India and Malaysia, the evening began with a mesmerizing classical dance performance by Kannada artists. The event showcased a series of cultural programs featuring artists from India, Malaysia, and other countries.
Popular actors and performers such as Sai Kumar, actress Prema, singer Manasa Holla, playback singer Sachin, and mimicry artist Gopi captivated the audience, along with international artists from Malaysia and Bangladesh.
