In the heart of India, born in the vibrant city of Bhubaneswar on January 22, 1993, Pritam Nayak emerged as a shining star in the world of fashion. With a lineage steeped in intellect and service, Pritam’s father, an ex-deputy secretary in the Odisha secretariat, and his mother, a lecturer in logic, laid the foundation for his journey.

Pritam’s sartorial voyage commenced at Jupiter +2 Science College in 2010, where he completed his higher secondary education. The allure of fashion then led him to the prestigious College of Engineering and Technology (CET) in Bhubaneswar, where he honed his craft, earning a Bachelor’s degree in fashion and apparel technology in 2014.

While at CET, Pritam didn’t merely acquire knowledge but showcased his talent by participating in numerous fashion competitions. His innate creativity caught the eye of renowned photographer Daboo Ratnani, who guided him during a memorable workshop. With newfound skills and inspiration, Pritam’s path was set in the world of fashion.

Pritam’s journey continued to evolve as he ventured into the dynamic realm of fashion startups. He joined a burgeoning fashion venture in KIIT square, taking on the roles of assistant designer and store manager. In 2019, the devastating news of his mother’s cancer diagnosis turned Pritam’s world upside down. Without hesitation, he left his thriving career to be by her side. It was during this challenging period that Pritam Nayak found his true calling – the birth of his own fashion label, aptly named “PRITAM NAYAK.”

The trials of 2020 brought both personal and professional setbacks, with the loss of his beloved mother and the fashion industry grappling with the pandemic’s impact. Yet, Pritam’s resilience and unwavering passion for his craft carried him through.

In 2022, Pritam made a resounding comeback, participating in prestigious fashion events like Fashion Couture Week and the Indian Style Gala Night in Gauwhati. His distinctive creations caught the eye of the global fashion scene, leading him to the “Global Inspirational Award” in Dubai in 2023.

This marked a pivotal moment in Pritam’s career, as he embarked on a journey to establish his brand in the vibrant city of Dubai. His collections were celebrated by audiences and soon found a home at “Pointe Mode,” a multi-designer store in the city.

In recent times, Pritam’s accolades have continued to multiply, with the “Best Emerging Designer” award at India Fashion Week Australia, and his participation in the prestigious Fashion Factor event in Dubai. Notably, Pritam’s designs have graced the silhouettes of top celebrities in both Odisha and the UAE, solidifying his reputation as a designer with a remarkable aesthetic.

Looking ahead to the future, Pritam Nayak is all set to represent India at the “Miss Europe Continental” event in Naples next November, a testament to his burgeoning influence on the global fashion stage.
