‘Ghosh Dada vs Danger Devdas’: Jyoti Ranjan Nayak to Clash With Amlan in Upcoming Odia Film

Bhubaneswar: The makers of the upcoming Odia mass action entertainer Danger Devdas have introduced another exciting face-off from the film, with Jyoti Ranjan Nayak set to appear as Ghosh Dada, who will go up against Amlan Das’ Danger Devdas.

Announcing the character, Sai Lumbini Productions shared the poster with the tagline, “Ghosh Dada vs Danger Devdas — The Clash Begins!” The makers have promised a “high-voltage battle” on the big screen, raising curiosity about the rivalry between the two characters.

Directed by Aswin Tripathy and produced by Subhra Pattnaik, Danger Devdas features Amlan Das in and as the titular character. The film is being presented by Sai Lumbini Productions in association with Babu Bhai Production.

The project has been steadily building buzz through a series of promotional announcements. The makers recently released the film’s official glimpse, presenting Danger Devdas as a power-packed cinematic experience combining action, attitude, emotion and entertainment.

The film boasts a large ensemble cast, including Elina Samantray, Papu Pom Pom, Aanisha Sharma, Bhupindra, Bobby Mishra, Susant Das Mohapatra, Sukumar Tudu, Aankit Kumar, Tapas Sargaria, Tushar Acharya, Kuna Tripathy, Sasmita Sahoo, Piyali Sahoo, Jayashree Sarangi, Gaurav Mohanty, Shankar Pradhan and several others.

The film marks the first collaboration between Aswin Tripathy and Amlan Das. Aswin’s previous directorial venture Kangula performed well at the box office, while Amlan is currently riding the success of Shikar.

With the Ghosh Dada vs Danger Devdas face-off now unveiled, the makers are adding another layer of intrigue to the film’s promotional campaign. Danger Devdas is slated to arrive in cinemas in 2026, with more updates expected ahead of its release.
