First Look Unveiled for the Film “I Am Kalia”, to Release on Bahuda Yatra

Bhubaneswar: First Look of Harihara Mohapatra ‘s New Odia movie “I Am Kalia”, unveiled on Wednesday.

The movie produced under the banner of Lee Blish Entertainment will be released on Bahuda Yatra.

In today’s time, many individuals deeply devoted to Lord Jagannath have dedicated their lives entirely to Him, often staying out of the public eye.

The Odia film “I Am Kalia” is based on such a touching social story. Devotees are always exalted in the eyes of the Lord.

Produced by Subash Sahu, “I Am Kalia” features Harihar Mohapatra in the lead role, along with renowned Russian theater actress Aniya, veteran actor Kuna Tripathy, actress Pushpa Panda, Satwaki Mishra, and others.

The story was written by Dr. Monalisa Mohapatra. The screenplay and direction are by Harihar Mohapatra, while the music direction is by Baidyanath Dash. Ashish Behera is the co-director, with cinematography by Kahnu Nanda Shubham. Production design was handled by Sarada Nayak, publicity by Pranay Jethi, and Ameya Maharana served as the advisor.

The entire film was shot in the sacred town of Puri. This is only the second Odia film in history to feature a foreign actress.

The first-look unveiling ceremony was hosted by Dr. Mrutyunjaya Rath. Among the special guests dedicated to Lord Jagannath were Pandit Suryanarayan Rathsharma, Swami Brahmananda Saraswati, Baba Dibakar Das, and Baba Prasanna Pattashani.

Many prominent figures from the Odia film industry were also present, including renowned film researcher Surya Deo, storyteller Shyama Prasad Mishra, film critic Amitabh Choudhury, Baanichitra editor Bhaskar Jena, director Shailendra Parida, along with several actors, directors, singers, technicians, and journalists.

It was announced during the event that “I Am Kalia” will be released across Odisha on the occasion of Bahuda Yatra.
