First Invitation of the Film “Jagannathanka Nabakalebara” Reaches Lord Baladevjew

Bhubaneswar: Produced by Sai Shraddha Production, the film “Shree Jagannathanka Nabakalebara” is set to release nationwide on July 4, on the auspicious occasion of Bahuda Yatra. For this, the team of “Nabakalebara” reached the Baladevjew Temple in Kendrapara at 11 AM Friday with the very first invitation.

The film’s producer and director Saubhagya Lakshmi Jena (Bini), producer Dillip Jena, actresses Shivani Sangita, Suryamayee, actors Jyotiranjan Nayak, and Anshuman were present at the temple and formally extended the invitation to Lord Baladevjew.

This is the first mythological film made on the subject of Shree Jagannath’s Nabakalebara (a sacred ritual involving the periodic renewal of the deities). Not only that, this star-studded big-budget film has been passionately made by Saubhagya Lakshmi Jena (Bini).

Her dedicated effort aims to spread awareness and understanding about what Nabakalebara truly is. With great devotion and emotion, the film has been produced on a grand cinematic scale, keeping the sentiments of devotees in mind.

Initially, she tried to reach audiences through theater performances, which were well-received. Her dream, however, was to showcase this on the big screen for the whole world, and now that dream is coming true. The film will be released statewide and outside the state on July 4, just a day before the Bahuda Yatra.

The film features a talented cast including Siddhant Mahapatra, Sritam Das, Jyotiranjan Nayak, Shivani Sangeeta, Suryamayee Mahapatra, Pinky Pradhan, Kuna Tripathy, Anshuman, Ashrumochan Mohanty, Saheb Singh, Pratibha Panda, and Ratan Meher.

The production is led by Dillip Jena and Saubhagya Lakshmi Jena (Bini), with direction also by Saubhagya Lakshmi Jena. The screenplay and dialogues are written by Shankar Tripathy, and lyrics are penned by Dr. Chandrabhanu Satpathy and Dr. Nirmal Nayak. Music direction is handled by Dr. Chandrabhanu Satpathy and Malay Mishra.

Pranaya Jethi serves as the executive producer, and cinematography is done by Dhruvanand Panda. The editing is by Sukumar Mani, while BGM and sound effects are managed by Bibhuti Bhushan Gadanayak. Haraprasad Mahapatra is in charge of publicity and promotion.
