‘Exam: The Biggest Scam’ Teaser Unveils a World of Secrets and Deception

Bhubaneswar: The official teaser of upcoming Odia film Exam: The Biggest Scam, directed by Aswin Tripathy, has been unveiled, offering a glimpse into a gripping world of secrets, deception, ambition and shocking realities.

Carrying the tagline, “The truth is hidden. The game is bigger than you think!”, the teaser hints at a story revolving around corruption, mystery and the darker side of the education system. It raises questions about a system where finding the truth comes at a price and every answer leads to another mystery.

“When the system becomes a question and the truth becomes a mystery, every answer comes at a price,” reads the film’s promotional description, promising an intense cinematic experience that will make audiences question everything.

Produced by Pravati Acharya, the film is presented by Ananya Entertainment in association with Babu Bhai Production.

It features an ensemble cast comprising Aumkar Acharya, Abhishek Panda, Bhoomika Dash, Swapna Priyadarshini, Lipi Mohapatra, Bhupinder Singh, Dipanwita Mohapatra, Gouraab Mohanty, Amar Mohapatra, Susanta Das Mohapatra, Dhira Mallik, Gyana Palei, Bichi Nana, Gyana Barik, Pankaj Babu, Bisal, Laxmi and Rani Samal.

Earlier, the makers introduced Bhoomika Dash as Khushi through her character’s first-look reveal. Her emotional introduction hinted at the struggles of students who view education as a pathway out of poverty and hardship but find their aspirations threatened by corruption in college admissions and examinations.

The film’s title had already sparked speculation among moviegoers, with some drawing parallels with controversies surrounding competitive examinations, includingincluding the self-immolation incident involving a girl student in Balasore, NEET-related controversies and alleged question paper leaks. However, the makers are yet to clarify whether the film is inspired by any of these incidents or focuses on a fictional account of corruption in the education system.

Tripathy, who has previously directed Danger Devdas, Delivery Boy and Delivery Boy 2, returns with a subject that touches upon a sensitive and relevant issue affecting students and their families.

Exam: The Biggest Scam is scheduled to release in cinemas on December 4, 2026.
