Bhubaneswar: After completing seven weeks in the cinema halls across the state, Odia youth centric movie Dasama, which released in January 18 across the state, will now be released in Munich for the Odia diaspora living there.

Dasama has completed seven weeks in cinema halls. The audience has given lots of love to the movie which is directed by Raja Dash.
The movie is getting good response from the people across the state. Everybody who had watched the movie is appreciating the movie and its story.
The makers shared a message recently for completing 26 days where they said” Thank you Odisha for accepting us and our little effort to take our industry one step further and acknowledging good content once again. We are flying high and ruling hearts on 26th day and counting”
The movie directed by Raja D and presented by D Films Cine Productions and Shradhanjali Entertainment is released in cinema halls across the state on January 18 and completing four weeks in today’s time is a big achievement.
The movie is produced by Deepak Kumar Jena and co-produced by Shraddha Panigrahi. Kaushik Das and Ram Patnaik.
The movie is a nostalgic trip set in school said director Raja. The movie cast includes many new faces alongside talented actor Shailendra Samantaray, Akash Hota, Arman Mohanty, Bunty, Jyoti, Nilakshi Patra, Simran, Suman Patnaik, Sushant Das Mohapatra, Santu, Khurda Toka and Rabi Mishra.
To make this movie experienced by each and everyone especially the young school students the makers organised competition at several Govt schools of Bhubaneswar , Cuttack and other districts and gave chance to winners to watch the movie at cinema galls nearby.
Director Raja D said that the movie is a youth centric movie set in a school and the school students must watch this movie . The time frame has been set in 2007. It talks about things experienced by youngsters during school days such as friendship, first love, education system of school etc. He added that all the people who were once a students would relate to it.
In the movie there are nine songs. Actor Babushaan Mohanty has sung one of the song Smruti Pakkhi. Other singers who sung the songs for the movie are Ananya Sritam Nanda, Kuldeep Patnaik, Biraj, Gourav Anand, Ashrita, Soujanya, Sourav, Ashutosh, Sandhyarani, Sandeep Panda, Sailendra and Sanjeev Kumar.
The music direction of this movie is done by not one but seven talented music directors including Gourav Anand, Sandeep Panda, Preet Priya, Subhajit, Binay Rath, Anurag Patnaik and Subrat Behera. This is first time that so many music directors were used for one movie.
The lyrics were written by Siraj Rath, Ranjan, Soumyaranjan Panda, Sandeep Panda. JP, Rajesh Das and Kumarshree Sahoo.
