Bollywood star Malaika in Odisha Queen beauty pageant jury

Bhubaneswar: The fourth season of Odisha Queen, a popular beauty contest of the state, organised by RR Events and Cine Productions, is scheduled to take place in Bhubaneswar, July 20.

The competition will feature a panel of judges, including Hindi film star Malaika Arora, Odia actresses Archita Sahu and Sheetal Patra, and actor Subhasis Sharma.
Ramesh Barik, Chairman of RR Events and Cine Productions, announced that auditions for the pageant will occur on specific dates across various locations in Odisha.

The auditions will be held at Berhampur (June 19), Rourkela (June 22), Sambalpur (June 28), Cuttack (June 30), and Bhubaneswar(July 3 and July 5.) Participants aged 18 to 28 are invited to register and showcase their talents.

Talking about the significance of such pageants, actress Archita Sahu, one of the jury members, said she had limited opportunities during her times. But now such competitions are offering platforms to young women across Odisha to pursue their dreams and display their talents, added the actress.
