Bobby Mishra’s look from the movie ‘Pratha’ revealed

With just few days left for the new odia movie Pratha to be released, the makers Sunday release the look of actor Bobby Mishra’s character from the movie.

The makers shared the look on social media saying “Introducing Bobby Mishra as D. Nayak Police IIC in Pratha. Get ready to witness his powerful performance that is sure to leave you spellbound with its intensity.”

The movie is directed by K Murali Krishna and produced by Sanlisa Patel. The movie is meanwhile presented by Sanlisa Signature Films.

The movie will be released on September 15 in three langauges Odia, Hindi and Punjabi.

Earlier, the trailer of the movie was released at a special event in Bhubaneswar recently.
The trailer showcase the story set in the Lalaguda area in Koraput and revolved around the character of Swaraj, who is playing a character of Potharaju, a nomadic tribe known for wearing Haldi in the body and vermilion on his forehead and hitting themselves with the whip and entertaining people.

The trailer shows how his life turn upside down after some greedy people try to use the local resources of the village for their own selfish needs and that affected Swaraj and his family and how he copes with it ”

The movie will be released in Delhi, Punjab and Haryana later in addition to its release in Odisha.

The film showcases the story of an orthodox village in Odisha where following traditional culture is often sacrosanct. The reel life depicts how these age-old practices define the movie’s main characters. Pratha features actor Swaraj Barik, Sheetal Patra and Simran Kaur in lead roles.

The movie is directed by K Murali Krishna and produced by Sanlisa Patel. The movie is meanwhile presented by Sanlisa Signature Films. Fans will see see romantic hero Swaraj in a different role in the movie.

Simran Kaur is known for giving voice to the cartoon character Nobita in the famous cartoon show Doremon. Other notable roles in the film were played by Chaudhary Bikash Dash, Bobby Mishra, Yash Ahlawat, Ashu Sharma, Rabi Mishra, Satish Patel, Ilu Banerjee and others.

In the movie, several actors of Punjab and Delhi have also worked. The movie’s shooting was undertaken in several pockets of Odisha, including Koraput, Similiguda, Kotia, and Deomali. Some parts of the shooting were also done outside too like in states like Chandigarh, Haryana, Jaipur and New Delhi. The promotion is being handled by Creative Head and Media Planner Pranay Jethi, who said that movie would be released in Hindi and Punjabi language apart from Odisha
