Bhubaneswar City to Witness Musical Play Devdas Tomorrow

Experimental Musical Play, “Devdas” will be exhibited for the first time for theatre lovers of Bhubaneswar. The timeless classic retold in a theatrical format stars Rano Joy as Devdas, Sheetal Patra as Paro, and BM Baisali as Chandramukhi. It will be presented at Rabindra Mandap on April 27 at 6:30 pm.

Devdas comprises of 10 songs composed by Om Prakash Mohanty and rendered Vocally by Susmita Das, Arvind Dutta & Debasmita Mishra.

Writer of the original Devdas, Devdas Chhotray said the Devdas has been recreated for big screen multiple times but still the plot has many aspects hitherto untouched and that’s why the story connects with the audience so much.

The musical play written by Devdas Chhotray, has been adapted by Dev Meher, and produced by Auromira Entertainment & Mitu’s Music.
