Babushan starrer ‘Pabar’ enters its third week and collects Rs 1.7 crore

Bhubaneswar: Babushaan Mohanty and Elina Samantaray starrer Political movie Pabar which released on July 12 enters the third week and had collected Rs 1.7 Crore.

Sharing the news makers said “One step ahead conquering your hearts. Thank you Odisha for all the love and belief in Pabaar. As we enter the third week, we do need your equal love and support.”

Earler, in a video message Babushaan also said”;Thank you Odisha for pouring so much love towards #Pabar as we become the highest 1st week gross collecting Odia cinema post covid. It wouldn’t have been possible without your love and support for us.”
Starring Babushaan Mohanty and Elina Samantaray released in Cinema hall on the occasion on July 12.

The movie tells the story of Benudhar Kandi, hailing from a little village of Gumagarh in Odisha, who does not have big expectations until circumstances force him into local politics. It is loosely based on true events.
The movie released in more than 50 cinema halls of the state. A special premiere was organised at Swati and Maharaja cinema halls in Bhubaneswar where stars cast of the movie were present.

PABAR is directed by Ashok Pati and Produced by Tripti Satpathy. Amara Muzik is the official music label of PABAR.

After the success of their last respective movies actor Babushaan Mohanty and director Ashok Pati reunite for a new movie Pabar. The shooting of the movie done in Phulbani, Kandhamal district.

The story is written by Amit Kumar Dash and Pranab Rath. The film stars actor Babushaan and Elina Samantaray in lead role. The other supporting role in the movie played by Choudhury Jayprakash Das, Ravi Mishra, Krishna Kar, Udit Guru and others.

The music is given by Gaurav Anand.The Mahurat of their new movie was organized in November where the actor Babushaan Mohanty, director Ashok Pati and others were present.

The movie is produced under the banner of Babushaan Films and is directed by Ashok Pati and is produced by Tripti Satpathy.
Babushaan Mohanty and Elina Samantary was last seen in movie Malyagiri.
