Babushaan Unveils First Glimpse of New Film on Rath Yatra, Title Teaser to Release Soon

Bhubaneswar: Marking the auspicious occasion of Rath Yatra, Odia superstar Babushaan Mohanty has officially revealed the first details of his upcoming film, hinting at a grand mythological and mystery-driven cinematic venture.

Sharing the announcement on social media, Babushaan posted the Sanskrit verse, “Ahimsa Paramo Dharma; Dharma Himsa Tathaiva Cha” (Non-violence is the highest virtue; however, violence in the service of righteousness is equally a duty), followed by the intriguing lines: “Not every saviour arrives as a man. Some rise as legends. A Divine Mystery Unfolds Soon.”

The film will be directed and written by Chinmay Das and produced under the banners of Babushaan Films and Prelude Novel Ventures by Tripti Satpathy and Sonia Dubey. The music will be composed by Gaurav Anand. While the makers have kept the title under wraps, they confirmed that the film’s title teaser will be unveiled soon.

The announcement has generated considerable excitement among fans, with many speculating that the project could explore mythological themes blended with mystery and action.

Babushaan was last seen in the horror-comedy Bou Buttu Bhuta, which received a positive response from audiences. He will next appear in the multilingual film Antaryami, expanding his presence beyond the Odia film industry.

With the latest announcement, the actor has added another ambitious project to his upcoming slate, making this Rath Yatra a special occasion for his fans.
