Babushaan starts shooting for a new movie
Bhubaneswar: After huge success of his movie Daman Babushaan started shooting of his new untitled movie opposite Shivani Sangeeta. At present Babushaan and Shivani are shooting for their new movie at Pondicherry.
Babushaan and Shivani had worked earlier in movie Bidyarana which released last year.
Babushaan’s new movie is directed by Bapu Goswami. The music of the movie is produced by Amara Muzic and music direction is given by Babushaan who also sung in the movie.
Babushaan Mohanty’s last movie Daman Hindi version will be releasing nationally in February.
The movie is based on the malaria eradication program named ‘DAMAN’ (Durgama Anchalare Malaria Nirakaran) by the Odisha government. With actors Babushaan Mohanty and Dipanwit Dasmohapatra in major roles, this Debi Prasad Lenka and Vishal Mourya co-directorial portrayed ground zero situation of the malaria infested remote areas of Malkangiri district and the relentless efforts of a team of several government officials to tackle it.
Released in theatres on November 4, Daman managed to bring Odia cinephiles back to movie theatres and ran successfully for weeks in a row
