Babushaan Mohanty’s Superhit Film ‘Bou Buttu Bhuta’ Now Streaming on Aao NXT

Bhubaneswar: With the rising popularity of OTT platforms across India, Aao NXT, the premier over-the-top (OTT) streaming service in Eastern India, continues to captivate Odia audiences by bringing compelling stories and high-quality content directly to their screens. In line with this, Babushaan Mohanty’s blockbuster Odia film ‘Bou Buttu Bhuta’ has now started streaming exclusively on Aao NXT.

Released just before the New Year, ‘Bou Butu Bhoot’ created a storm in the Odia film industry, combining horror, comedy, and suspense in a uniquely entertaining way. Its soundtrack, featuring songs like “Dunguthili” and “Oda Lage”, quickly became audience favorites. The film’s theatrical shows were consistently houseful, especially among younger viewers.

Produced by Trupti Satapathy under the banner of Babushaan Films, the movie has been praised for its engaging storyline and melodious music that resonated across Odisha. The film stars Babusahan Mohanty in the lead role, with Archita Sahu playing the female lead.

Veteran actress Aparajita Mohanty also appears in a pivotal role and, for the first time, lends her voice to one of the songs, adding a special charm to the soundtrack. Other notable cast members include Choudhury Jayprakash Das, KK, Ravi Mishra, Anugulia Banti, and Udit Guru.

Directed by Jagadish Mishra, with story and screenplay by M. Imran, dialogues by Pranab Prasanna Rath, and music direction by Gaurav Anand, the film has been praised for its seamless blend of performances, music, and storytelling. Cinematography is handled by Rudrakant Singh, while the executive producer is Sambit Jena.

Aao NXT has previously gained immense popularity by streaming Odia hits like ‘Karma’, ‘Bhabantar’, ‘Malyagiri’, and ‘Kuhudi’. With ‘Bou Butu Bhoot’, the platform continues its commitment to bringing fresh films and popular web series to Odia audiences.
