Bhubaneswar: Filmmaker Aswin Tripathy’s upcoming Odia film Exam: The Biggest Scam is set to release in cinemas on December 4, 2026. The makers have announced the release date through a new promotional poster, raising anticipation around the film.

Directed by Aswin Tripathy and produced by Pravati Acharya, the film is presented by Ananya Entertainment in association with Babu Bhai Production. It promises a gripping narrative centred on the education system and the corruption allegedly surrounding college admissions and examinations.

Recently, actress Bhoomika Dash was introduced as Khushi through her first-look reveal. Her character’s emotional introduction highlights the struggles of students who see education as a pathway out of poverty and hardship but find their dreams threatened by corruption and irregularities in the system.

The film’s title, Exam: The Biggest Scam, has also triggered speculation among moviegoers, with some drawing parallels with recent controversies surrounding competitive examinations, including NEET and alleged question paper leaks. However, the makers are yet to confirm whether the story is inspired by any specific examination scam.

Tripathy, who has previously directed films such as Danger Devdas, Delivery Boy and Delivery Boy 2, returns with a subject that touches upon an issue affecting students and their families.
