Arshad Warsi talks about the feasibility of Munna Bhai 3

Famous Munna Bhai MBBS character circuit, played  by actor Arshad Warsi is still in memories of several Hindi film lovers. This character helped Warsi carve out his own niche in the highly competitive movie industry. However, the actor is not sure if the third edition of the movie could ever see light of the day.

While Munna Bhai MBBS was released on 2003, its second edition named Lage Raho Munna Bhai starring Sanjay Dutt, Vidya Balan and Arshad also rose to limelight. With the two successes, the audiences were looking for another round of comedy. The director of the film Raju Hirani had also started shooting for the third edition, however it got a jolt when Dutt was convicted and faced a jail term.

In a latest media interview, Arshad opened up about the fate of the third edition. He said that the actors, the audience and even the producers are ready for the third edition but the director of the film Raju Hirani is still working on a perfect script to make it a reality. Warsi said that the finalisation of the script is yet to be done. He said that Hirani had been a perfectionist and working on the same. He said that unless he comes up with a final perfect script, it will be a Herculean task to start the movie.
