Prasanjeet Introduced as Dr. Ashmit in Odia Film Jai Hind

Bhubaneswar: Actor Prasanjeet has been introduced as Dr. Ashmit, his character in the upcoming Odia film Jai Hind, with the makers unveiling his first character look on the occasion of his birthday.

Subhashree Films shared a special birthday message for the actor, introducing the character with the tagline: “A story, A journey, A thousand emotions.” The makers described Dr. Ashmit as a character where pain, friendship, laughter and life come together, hinting at an emotionally layered role.
“Some stories are not just watched… they are felt,” Subhashree Films said while presenting Prasanjeet as Dr. Ashmit.

Directed by Abhishek Tripathy and produced by Subhashree Mangaraj, Jai Hind marks the debut production venture of Subhashree Films in the Odia film industry. The film stars actor and MLA Akash Das Nayak in the lead role, portraying a police officer.

The film revolves around the bravery, sacrifice and commitment of the Odisha Police and aims to pay tribute to the unsung heroes in uniform. Its recently unveiled poster showed Akash Das Nayak in a powerful police avatar, setting the tone for a drama centred on justice, patriotism and public service.

Prasanjeet, along with Aankit Kumar and Ananya Mishra, features in pivotal roles in the film.
With music from Babu Bhai Production, Jai Hind is scheduled to hit theatres this Diwali. The film is currently Coming Soon.
