Aao NXT Bags OTT Rights for Odia Film Ladhei

Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s leading OTT platform Aao NXT has secured the digital streaming rights for the much-awaited Odia action-drama Ladhei. The film, produced by DRS Enterprises and directed by renowned filmmaker Ashok Pati, is set for a grand theatrical release this Diwali.

Known for delivering fresh and diverse content since its launch in 2020, Aao NXT has already given popular web series and films like Club 69, Four, Anthony, Jajabara 2.0, Suka Bhai Ra Sholay, Dasama, and Ghamaghot. Recently, it created a buzz by streaming Odisha’s first erotic web series Ayushman Mastram, which received impressive viewership. It also started recently streaming special Sambalpuri show Kedek under Aao NXT Juhaar.It has also expanded its regional reach with the launch of a special Sambalpuri show Kedek under its Aao NXT Juhaar segment

Ladhei promises a unique cinematic experience with a high-octane blend of action, drama, and emotion. The film introduces Lohitakshya in the lead role opposite Abhilipsa, adding fresh energy to the industry.

Ahead of its release, the film’s audio was launched in a grand event at Hotel The Presidency, Bhubaneswar, under the Amara Music label. The album features four songs by music directors Gaurav Anand and Somesh Satpathy, with lyrics by Nirmal Nayak, Bapu Goswami, and J.P. Wordsmith. Popular singers like Swayam Prabhas Padhi, Ananya Sritam Nanda, Kuldeep Pattnaik, Antara Chakraborty, and Asima Panda have lent their voices, while a title track featuring rapper Addiction is already trending online.

With a story penned by Bharadwaj Panda, Ladhei promises originality, steering away from formulaic plots. The ensemble cast includes Pritiranjan, KK, Smita Choudhury, Manoj Dandapat, and Rajlaxmi Dakua.

Post its theatrical run, the film will exclusively stream on Aao NXT, ensuring fans can relive the Diwali blockbuster at home.
