Babushaan’s new movie ‘Sonak’ announced on his birthday

Bhubaneswar: On the special occasion of Babushaan Mohanty’s birthday, His new movie title was announced at a special function Tuesday.

The film titled SONAK is produced by Sargam Tripathy under the banner of Gurvi Productions and directed by Director duo of and Peenakee Singh. Film music is given by Gaurav Anand

A new heroine is finalised for the film and the name will be revealed soon.

Along with Babushaan Mohanty in lead other important roles are played by Dipanwit Dashmohapatra, Choudhury Jayaprakash, Krishna Kar, Bobby Mishra, Rabi MIshra, Bhaswati Basu.

After achieving back to back success Babushaan Mohanty is ready for giving another hit with his new movie.

Babushaan last movie Pabar directed by Ashok Pati and stars Elina Samantaray was a big success in box office. The Political movie which released on July 12 enters the third week and had collected Rs 1.7 Crore.
The movie tells the story of Benudhar Kandi, hailing from a little village of Gumagarh in Odisha, who does not have big expectations until circumstances force him into local politics. It is loosely based on true events.
