Shehnaaz on importance of failure

Mumbai: Actress Shehnaaz Gill, who made her debut with Salman Khan’s film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, expressed her desire to work with Ranbir Kapoor and also emphasised the importance of failure and personal growth.

In an exclusive interview with a media agency, she shared that 2023 has been an eventful period, marking personal growth and a shift in her perspective. She acknowledged becoming more mature and better equipped to handle various situations.

Having collaborated with Salman Khan, Shehnaaz expressed her desire to work with other Bollywood superstars. While keeping an open mind about working with any acclaimed actor, she specifically mentioned her interest in working with Ranbir Kapoor. Despite never meeting him in person, she expressed admiration for him based on glimpses at events.

Addressing the inevitable aspect of rejections in the entertainment industry, Shehnaaz stated that rejection is a natural part of life. She emphasized the significance of experiencing failure and learning from it. The actor, who gained widespread recognition through Bigg Boss 13, asserted that success is not the sole focus and that failure is integral to personal and professional growth.

Expressing contentment with her ability to challenge and alter people’s perceptions, Shehnaaz noted that defying preconceived images takes time. She highlighted the shift in how people view her, emphasising that she is not limited to a specific desi persona. As the 29-year-old reflected on her journey, she embraced the idea that destiny holds positive outcomes, challenging the notion that fate only dictates unfavorable circumstances.
