Odisha’s girl Monika all set to debut in a Telugu film

Bhubaneswar: Odisha girl Monika Samaddar is all set to debut in Telugu film soon as lead actress .

Monika who hails from Malkangiri district will be playing a major role opposite Telugu actor Srinivasa Rao in a film titled ‘Garaga’ produced by Kalaka Srinivasa Rao under the banner of Sri Srinivasa Creations.

Monika’s father is businessman, and her elder brother is working at a private company in Hyderabad.

Monika after competing her education enrolled in an dance academy in Hyderabad to learn dance. After completing 2 years of training in dance, she got roles in a few television soaps. Being impressed by her acting skills, she was offered the Telugu film in a lead role.

Currently, ‘Garaga’ is being shot in an Island area in Kondapally region in Andhra Pradesh. The film also stars Chadalavada Haribabu, Rambabu, Ramaswamy, Chennakesava, Bhavani, Vijaya, Ravan Lankeshwar, Kali Charan, Ravi Babu, Meera, Rahiman. The promotion of the film will take place soon.
