Daman team locks Raja and Dussehra 2024 for their two movies

The Team of Superhit Odia movie Daman- director duo of Deb Prasad Lenka and Vishal Mourya and actor Babushaan Mohanty reunite again not for one movie but two.

The makers and actor shared a photo together Sunday in which they set release dates for their two movies which will be part one and two saying “Locking Raja and Dussehra 2024. The team finally ensembles. We are coming together again for “D Volume 1 and 2” Can you guess the title?. Revealing soon.

The combination of actor Babushaan Mohanty and director duo of Debi Prasad Lenka and Vishal Mourya will be back for the new movie soon after the success of Daman.

DAMaN, abbreviation for Durgama Anchalare Malaria Nirakarana (transl. Malaria Eradication in Inaccessible Areas), is a 2022 Indian Odia film written and directed by Vishal Mourya and Debi Prasad Lenka and produced by Deependra Samal. The film starred Babushaan Mohanty and Dipanwit Dashmohapatra in lead roles.
The film portrays a doctor’s relentless fight against superstitions and struggle to make tribal people aware of facts about Malaria disease. ‘On November 4, the film was released in in Odisha and Critics praised the performances of Babushaan Mohanty and Dipanwit Dashmohapatra.

The film is the highest grossing Odia film beating God Father-True Story of a Man (2016). Following the support and appreciation both in and out of Odisha, the filmmakers decided to release the movie in Hindi. Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn launched the Hindi dubbed trailer of the film, and the movie was released on 3 February 2023.
