‘Pashapali: The Game of Politics’ Poster Unveiled; Bikalananda Kar Productions Enters Odia Cinema

Bhubaneswar: The poster of the upcoming Odia film “Pashapali (The Game of Politics)”, presented by Bikalananda Kar Productions, was unveiled at the Bhubaneswar Press Club, marking the production house’s entry into the Odia film industry.

Bikalananda Kar, known for his popular rasagola brand, is now venturing into film production with Pashapali as his first contribution to the Odia cinema industry. The film’s title and poster, centred around the theme of politics, have already generated curiosity among audiences.

Ekamra MLA Babu Singh attended the poster launch as the chief guest, while senior politician Jagannath Pradhan was present as the guest of honour. The event was also attended by the film’s chief advisor Dilip Kumar Dash, producer Prashant Kumar Kar, director Sanjay Nayak, noted politician and actress Shreemayee Mishra, who plays a lead role in the film, along with actress Poonam Mishra and actors Raj Rajesh, Dushmant Panda and Biranchi Nayak.

Veteran music director Malay Mishra will compose the music for the film, while Shubham is handling cinematography. Media Planner Creative Head Pranaya Jethi has been entrusted with the film’s publicity and promotional activities.

According to the production house, the teaser, trailer and music of Pashapali will be released soon. With politics at the centre of its title and promotional material, the film is expected to attract considerable interest among Odia moviegoers.
