‘Guruji Namaskar’ Trailer Out, Promises an Emotional Tribute to Teachers

Bhubaneswar: The makers of the upcoming Odia film Guruji Namaskar have unveiled the film’s official trailer, offering audiences an emotional glimpse into an award-winning social drama that celebrates the extraordinary impact of ordinary educators.

Released on the Babu Bhai Production YouTube channel, the trailer revolves around a dedicated school teacher who refuses to surrender to adversity and goes beyond the classroom to shape the future of his students.

With the tagline, “A classroom. A pair of worn-out shoes. A teacher who refused to give up,” the trailer promises a heartfelt story of hope, resilience and social change.
Set against the backdrop of rural Odisha, Guruji Namaskar explores the deep bond between teachers and students while highlighting the challenges faced by educators in transforming lives.

The content-driven drama aims to deliver a powerful message on the importance of education and the lasting influence of mentors on society.

Directed by Jitendriya Pradhan, the film is produced by Sanket Kumar Tripathy and co-produced by Illa Mishra under the banner of The Undergrads Production. The story, screenplay and dialogues have been penned by Sanket Kumar Tripathy.

The film stars Aman in the lead role alongside Sukumar Tudu, Shivanshi Sen, Ilu Banerjee, Gourabb Mohanty, Shruti Das Mohapatra, Sanket Tripathy, Susil Mishra and Puspanjali Sarangi in pivotal roles.

The soundtrack has been composed by the late Abhijit Majumdar and D Ashesh, adding to the film’s emotional appeal. Before its theatrical release, Guruji Namaskar also earned recognition on the national film festival circuit, receiving appreciation and accolades at several festivals across India.
The film’s promotional campaign has extended beyond conventional marketing, with the team felicitating more than 200 teachers across Odisha to honour real-life educators who have inspired generations of students.

Following the release of its trailer, Guruji Namaskar is set to arrive in theatres across Odisha on July 10, 2026, with the makers hoping its inspiring story will resonate with audiences of all ages.
