‘Aafaa’ Set for Telugu Remake After Winning Audience Hearts

Bhubaneswar/Hyderabad: The unique Odia family film “AAFAA – Life After Life” has won hearts within days of its release and is now set to be remade in Telugu. A high-level meeting regarding the remake was recently held in Hyderabad, marking a significant milestone for the Odia film industry.

The discussion took place in the presence of Prasad Kalinga Lab director Sai Prasad, Telangana Film Development Corporation chairman and noted Tollywood producer Dil Raju, and MP Prabhat Singh. The film’s director Preetiraj Satpathy shared detailed plans for the Telugu remake. Film critics have termed this development a major achievement for Odia cinema.

Released across theatres on April 3, the film revolves around the extraordinary story of an ordinary family—father, mother, grandfather and daughter—resonating deeply with audiences who see reflections of their own lives in the narrative.

The film also marks the acting debut of Anmol Pati, daughter of noted director Ashok Pati. The cast includes Kuna Tripathy, Preetiraj Satpathy, Naina Das, Har Rath, Dharitri Khandual, Siddharth Tiwari, and child artiste Mivaan, all of whom delivered commendable performances.

Produced by Preetiraj Satpathy and Naina Das, the film features dialogues by Kuna Tripathy and music composed by Prem Anand. The cinematography by Biswajit Kuldi has also been widely appreciated.

The film’s team has urged audiences who have not yet watched this heart-touching movie to visit their nearest theatres and experience it on the big screen.
