Special Screening of Murabi Draws Emotional Response Ahead of Release

Bhubaneswar: A special screening of the much-awaited Odia film Murabi was held on Friday at the city-based Shreya Swati Cinema Hall, where the film’s cast, crew, and several Ollywood personalities came together to celebrate the upcoming release.

The event witnessed the presence of actors Ankita Mohanty and Kuna Tripathy, along with producers Vishal Mourya and Debi Prasad Lenka, and directors Peenakee Singh and Sisir Kumar Sahu, among others.

The screening reportedly received an emotional response from viewers, with many leaving the hall teary-eyed and praising the film’s strong family-centric narrative. The positive early reactions have further heightened anticipation for the theatrical release scheduled for April 14.

Murabi, presented by Mentis Films, is backed by National Film Award-winning producers Vishal Mourya and Debi Prasad Lenka. The film is positioned as an emotional family drama exploring relationships, generational values, and the role of a family patriarch.
