Chakranta Trailer Out: Bhoomika Dash Headlines New Odia Social Thriller

Bhubaneswar: The trailer of the much-awaited Odia film Chakranta was unveiled on Sunday on the Babu Bhai Productions YouTube channel, offering a glimpse into a hard-hitting social drama packed with emotion, mystery, and intrigue.

Headlined by Bhoomika Dash, the film follows the journey of a young woman who leaves home in pursuit of education and career opportunities, only to confront temptations, negative influences, and unforeseen challenges. The narrative explores how innocent lives are tested, relationships strained, and how parental sacrifices often go unnoticed, delivering a strong message about life choices and their consequences.

Directed by Pinu Nayak and produced by Saurabh Padhi, Chakranta is scheduled for a January 2026 theatrical release. The makers promise a gripping cinematic experience that blends social realism with suspense and conspiracy.

The film also marks Bhoomika Dash’s first on-screen pairing with Subhasish Sharma, a fresh combination that adds further intrigue to the storyline.
