Anasmish Productions Wishes Prem Parrijaa on His Birthday Amid Filming of Ram Rajya

Bhubaneswar:  Makers of the upcoming Odia movie Ram Rajya extended warm birthday wishes to their lead actor Prem Parrijaa on Saturday. Anasmish Productions took to social media to share, “May this birthday be filled with lots of happy hours and also your life with many happy birthdays, that are yet to come.”

Celebrated Odia filmmaker Sudhanshu Mohan Sahoo, known for acclaimed movies like Bhaunri, Mayabi and Katak, is currently helming Ram Rajya—the much-anticipated sequel to Anasmish Productions’ blockbuster Katak.

The film’s first schedule recently wrapped up in Kolkata, with actress Poonam Mishra revealing that the shoot concluded near the iconic Ganga Ghat. Production has now shifted to multiple locations across Odisha. Sahoo has been keeping fans engaged by sharing regular behind-the-scenes glimpses, marking this as Odia cinema’s first-ever sequel project.

Ram Rajya introduces debutant Prem Parijaa, known for his role in the web series Commando, making his big-screen Odia debut in this ambitious action drama. The makers had earlier promised a “massive action extravaganza Odisha has never seen before” and hinted at a star-studded cast reveal soon.

The original Katak: Sesha Ru Aarambha (2023), directed by Sahoo, featured an ensemble cast including Sidhant Mohapatra, Debasis Patra, Anu Choudhury, Poonam Mishra, and Chaudhary Bikash Das. It ended on a dramatic cliffhanger, leaving audiences eager for continuation.

Produced by Kumar Pritam Sahoo, Ram Rajya is expected to take the Katak saga to greater cinematic heights. Following this project, director Sudhanshu Mohan Sahoo is set to begin work on Mangalpur Dairy, starring Amlan Das.
