Swaraj Barik Teams Up with Bou Buttu Bhuta Director for New Film ‘SB12’

Bhubaneswar: Popular Odia actor Swaraj Barik, last seen in the romantic drama Khoka Bhai Tama Pai, is all set to collaborate with Jagdish Mishra, the acclaimed director of the blockbuster Bou Buttu Bhuta, for his upcoming film currently titled #SB12.

Sharing the news on social media, Swaraj wrote: “#SB12 is truly special to me. Honoured to work with Mr. Jagdish Mishra Sir, the director of the recent blockbuster Bou Buttu Bhuta, along with an amazing team and the magical music of Gourav Anand. The script I’ve been waiting for! Excited, a little nervous, but more confident than ever. A new genre of Swaraj is coming to the big screen. 2025 is going to be bigger, better, and full of Entertainment, Entertainment & Entertainment! Stay tuned for the #TitleAnnouncement. Apart from acting, Swaraj is also making his mark as a filmmaker. He recently won the Best Short Film Award for his directorial venture Glitch at the National Short Film Festival organized by the SSEPD Department. The film, which addresses disability issues, is currently streaming on the Swaraj Barik Films YouTube channel.

Meanwhile, Swaraj is also working on another project titled Sesha Kishan, an Odia-language biographical feature film directed by Sushant Mani.
