Bhubaneswar: CREDAI Bhubaneswar City Chapter successfully organized a workshop and seminar on “Urban Development and Real Estate” at the Mayfair Convention in the capital. The event served as a significant platform to discuss urban infrastructure, sustainable development, and the future of the real estate sector in Odisha.
As part of its grand workshop on ‘Urban Development and Real Estate,’ CREDAI Bhubaneswar also took the opportunity to honour distinguished personalities from Odisha who have made outstanding contributions in their respective domains.
Among those felicitated were Satyajit Nayak (IPS) for public service, Olympian Dutee Chand for her achievements in athletics, Padma Shri Sudarsan Pattnaik for his contributions to art and culture, senior journalist Kishore Dwivedi for excellence in journalism, media planner Pranay Jethi for creative work in media and cinema, architect R. Swapnadatta Mohanty for leadership in architecture, acclaimed actor Prashant Nanda for his legacy in Odia cinema, and Dr. Monika Nayyar Patnaik for her leadership in media and entrepreneurship
The chief guest of the event was the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Government of Odisha, Dr. Krushna Chandra Mahapatra. His address provided valuable insights and inspiration to all participants from the real estate and development sectors.
Several dignitaries graced the occasion as esteemed guests, including Mr. Asit Kumar Mahapatra, Hon’ble Chairman of Odisha Real Estate Regulatory Authority (ORERA), and Dr. Prabodh Mohanty, Chairman of Utkal Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ltd.
The seminar and workshop included discussions on urban development in the state, policy implementation, and sustainability in the real estate sector, underscoring CREDAI’s commitment to responsible development in Odisha.
Mr. Jagat Kumar Kar, Secretary of CREDAI Bhubaneswar, remarked that as the demand for real estate in the state grows, so does CREDAI’s responsibility. Thus, their goal is expanding to collaborate with the state’s broader development along with the real estate sector.
