Versatile actor Kumud Mishra is set to perform his play Dhumrapan in Bhubaneswar

Versatile Actor Kumud Mishra who had made his Mark in the industry and among fans with memorable performances in movies like Rockstar (2011), Filmistaan (2014), Airlift (2016), Sultan (2016), M.S. Dhoni — The Untold Story (2016), Mulk (2018), Article 15 (2019), Thappad (2020) etc will be in capital city Bhubaneswar on August 18 for his play titled Dhumrapan at Rabindra Mandap.

The event is organised by Zain Foundation Trust as fundraiser to support people living with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

The play Dhumrapan is written by Adhir Bhatt, directed by Akarsh Khurana and headlined by famous Hindi film and theatre actor Kumud Mishra, the play is a hilarious take on the rate race at corporate offices. The cast also includes Shubrahyoti Barat, Ghanshyam Lalsa, Siddhnarth Kumar, Tarruk Raina, Sarthal Kakkar and Ashmita Meghrajani.

Kumud Mishra is also known face in theatre circle also for over 25 years for his many memorable performances ( Shakkar ke Paanch Daane, Kaumudi, Muktidham etc.

Mishra has played supporting roles in the films Filmistaan, Revolver Rani, Jolly LLB 2, Raanjhanaa, Badlapur, Bangistan, Airlift, M. S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai, Rukh, Aiyaary, Mulk, De De Pyaar De, Article 15, Bharat, Jawaani Jaaneman, Thappad, Sooryavanshi and Tadap. In 2020, he starred in the titular role in Sony LIV original Ram Singh Charlie that follows the life of a circus artist and his subsequent struggle after the circus is shut.

Mishra is an alumnus of Rashtriya Military School Belgaum, Karnataka and graduated from National School Of Drama, Delhi
