Rocking Star Yash of Kannada cinema has won a billion hearts across the globe by playing a bad boy in the KGF franchise. But a recent revelation about the actor’s soft, philanthropic side is now winning hearts on the internet as well. A video clip of Tamil actor Daniel Balaji, who played a small role in Yash’s 2011 film, Kirataka, talking about Yash’s philanthropy has gone viral on social media. The Rocking Star is said to have generously contributed for the construction of Ragdhool Angala Parameswari Amman in Chennai.

Speaking to a private TV channel, Daniel Balaji said, “About 4 years ago, Yash called me and offered me a role in a Kannada movie. But I told him I have a 20-day commitment here in Chennai and told him about the temple I was constructing. I told him I cannot leave the city until the job is done as I have to oversee everything. He casually said okay and wished me good luck. Then we were talking in general. But soon after, to my surprise, my account number was credited with some amount. I was still on call with Yash and I realised the money was from Yash. I asked him why he is crediting the money when I haven’t even met the producer or confirmed my dates. I even asked him if he was the producer of the film. He just simply said the money was for the construction temple.”
The actor, too, seemed to be impressed by the Rocking Star’s act and quipped that Yash, indeed, has a KGF (golden) heart.
